Thanksgiving

I want to wish all my friends and family a Happy Thanksgiving! I wish I could be there to share the festivities with you!

Here in Japan, we don't celebrate Thanksgiving. I don't even get the option of making a Thanksgiving meal, unless I want to spend an arm and a leg importing everything I would need. It's so strange for me to think that several of my students have never even tried turkey. We don't even think about things like that, but they don't have that kind of meat here. I am hoping to make a Christmas honey-glazed ham, though. It's just not Christmas without it!

Anyway, I love and miss all of you!
